A licensed healthcare provider will review your information and schedule a brief telehealth visit. This ensures safe continuation of your therapy and allows the provider to write a new prescription for compounded medication.

Note: A telehealth visit is required to establish care with our network providers and obtain a prescription for compounded medication. This is a regulatory requirement.

3

Receive Your Medication

Once prescribed, your compounded medication will be prepared by a licensed 503A pharmacy and shipped directly to you. Most patients receive their medication within 5-7 business days.

Common Questions

Why do I need a telehealth visit if I already have a prescription?
Compounded medications require a new prescription from a provider in our network. The telehealth visit establishes care, verifies your medical history, and ensures safe continuation of your therapy. This is a regulatory requirement for patient safety.
Can I continue at my current dose?
Yes, in most cases you can continue at your current dose. The healthcare provider will review your history during the telehealth visit and prescribe the appropriate dose for your compounded medication.
How long does the transition process take?
After submitting the intake form, most patients complete their telehealth visit within 2-3 business days. Medication is typically shipped within 1-2 days of prescription and arrives in 5-7 business days. Plan accordingly to avoid gaps in treatment.
Is compounded medication the same as brand-name?
Compounded medications contain the same active ingredient but are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy rather than a commercial manufacturer. They are not FDA-approved as final products but are prepared according to individual prescriptions using high-quality ingredients.
